Introduction

 

Potato skins have long been one of my favorite appetizers. They are easy to make, low in fat, and can be made quickly for unexpected or expected company. Also, they can be prepared ahead of time and chilled in the refrigerator with great results. This recipe and step by step instruction manual will have you making potato skin appetizers like a pro in no time.

Before you begin, you should have a basic understanding of kitchen appliances and utensils to perform this task. For the most part, you need to be able to work an oven, microwave, and spoon! All ingredients can be found in any grocery store and are available year round.

This basic recipe comes to you from my mom and has been modified by myself to my personal taste.

1 wedge: 64 calories, 2 grams total fat, 1 gram saturated fat, 7 mg sodium, 8 grams carbohydrates, 1 g fiber, 3 grams protein.
